A school bus driver in Queens faces several charges for striking an 11-year-old boy and then driving off.
Marc Saget is charged with failure to yield to a pedestrian with injury and failure to exercise due care.
Police say the 60-year-old was making a left turn from Sutphin Boulevard onto Liberty Avenue in Jamaica when he struck the child.
Saget left the scene at first, but was found a short time later, according to police.
Police discovered the boy laying in the street, concious and alert.
He was taken to Elmhurst Hospital with pain to this head and stomach.
His condition is stable at this time.
Saget is expected to appear before a judge sometime next month.
