Drivers in the South Bronx will want to steer clear of the bus lanes on the Bx6 line or risk a fine.

Starting Friday 1/12, drivers will get a ticket if they're caught on camera in the special lanes for the Bx6, which is a Select Bus Service line.

Drivers were issued warnings for the first 60 days after the cameras were turned on.

If you do get fined, you will not get any points on your license.

The cameras are also in effect along 10 other bus routes around the city.
