Believe it or not, the city actually warmed up Sunday.
After quasi-arctic wind chills around -10 degrees in the wake of Thursday's snowstorm, the city saw less dangerous wind chills Sunday that have hovered around 10 degrees.
The city will feel much better Monday, with the temperature expected to finally get above the freezing mark for the first time in more than two weeks.
Partly sunny skies are likely during the morning hours, but more clouds are expected to move in during the afternoon. Some light snow or freezing rain could develop after dark, but no more than an inch of accumulation is expected.
The temperature trend upward continues during the week, with afternoon highs primarily in the low- to mid-40s.
Tuesday is projected to be dry, but some wet weather is expected Wednesday and Thursday.
