Senator Charles Schumer slams the NRA over its new concealed carry legislation.

The push comes just a week after the mass shooting in Las Vegas.

The bill would allow anyone with a concealed gun permit to carry their weapon in any state.

That means someone who legally gets a gun somwhere else would be able to publicly carry it here in New York City.

"That our police, our citizenry, could be confronted by people with no background checks. No looking into whether they had serious problems, mental or otherwise, and they could carry whatever weapons they wanted into New York. Appalling," Schumer said.

Schumer also weighed in on President Trump's new immigration demands.

He called the list "unreasonable" and says it goes against what he and the President have discussed.
