Police say they are investigating after a body was discovered at a pond in Central Park on Sunday morning.
A passerby noticed the body in the Conservancy Water on the east side of the park near 74th St. around 8 a.m., police said.
He was unconscious and later pronounced dead at the scene, officials said.
According to the city police department, the corpse is a male body in his 20s.
The body was fully clothed and has no obvious signs of trauma, according to investigators.
The Conservancy Water is a relatively small pond often used to operate model boats.
Officials have not determined a cause of death, and have not made any arrests. The investigation is ongoing.
