NEW YORK - The city's most famous department store goes from floral prints to floral arrangements.
The annual Macy's Flower Show is on this weekend at its flagship Herald Square location.
More than 5,000 varieties of flowers and plants are on display as part of a carnival themed exhibition spread out across the store.
Best of all, it's free to browse the flowers while you shop.
"We do it all through the overnight, you see we put up a lot of bridges and pans, and we put up props and things like that, and we plant all the flowers overnight," said Susan Tercero, Special Productions Vice President at Macy's Parade and Entertainment.
The flower show officially opens on Sunday, and will be on display until April 9.
