NEW YORK - A group of city cab drivers say they're fed up with fees and will march today in protest.
Organizers say they are against practices of the Taxi and Limousine Commission that impose an unfair burden on drivers, like the TLC putting new points on drivers licenses for old tickets.
It's also against the high cost of application fees, which can be $1,000 or more, as well as regulations that make it difficult for drivers to avoid expensive tickets and license suspensions.
Hundreds of drivers are expected to march through Inwood and Washington Heights to the office of City Councilman Ydanis Rodriguez.
