Police are investigating a deadly car crash in Queens.
It happened at the intersection of Grand Central Parkway and Union Turnpike around 8:30 Saturday night.
Police say the driver of a Jeep Grand Cherokee was speeding east through the exit onto the Turnpike when he drove up onto a sidewalk and slammed into a concrete block wall on the Grand Central Parkway overpass.
The car caught fire and the driver was killed. A 31-year-old man in the passenger seat was thrown from the car, he was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
