Police arrested a man they say stabbed a tourist earlier this month in Midtown.
20-year-old Steven Tlapanco is charged with attempted murder, assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
Sources tell NY1 he knew police were looking for him and turned himself in this morning.
On December 18, cops say he yelled out to 23-year-old Connor Rasmussen, then stabbed him in the head with a steak knife and ran off.
It happened on East 46th Street near Madison Avenue.
Rasmussen was treated at the hospital and released.
