New Yorkers got a break from the chilly winter weather.
The mercury rose to 60 degrees in some parts of the city.
In Morningside Heights, people took advantage of the mild temperature by eating, strolling and sitting outside.
Others skipped the gym, deciding to take their exercise routine outdoors.
Plenty of people in Chelsea were out running, walking and riding bikes.
"It's been great, it's been a nice breeze, I've been enjoying walking the city," said one.
"It's good for me, I took my kids out today, we went to park, we're gonna go ice-skating tonight at a Hanukkah celebration, so we're — we're enjoying it," said another.
"I'm wearing a pair of shorts," said a third.
QUESTION: So, are you looking forward to the winter weather coming back tomorrow?)
"Well, no, I can't really say that."
Don't get too used to it, though. As we mentioned in our weather report, temperatures are expected to dip back into the 40's in the coming days.
