The mourning continues for a woman found dead in a Queens park as authorities search for her killer.

Dozens gathered Wednesday at the Vetro Restaurant and Wine Bar in Howard Beach, where Karina Vetrano worked.

Investigators say the 30-year-old's body was discovered by authorities and her father in a marshy area near 161st Avenue and 78th Street in Howard Beach around 11 p.m. Tuesday.

The St. John's graduate had been reported missing hours earlier when she went out for a run near Gateway National Park in Jamaica Bay and never returned.

Sources tell NY1 she was raped and strangled.

"She was about to be in the prime of her life. She had so much going for her, you know. Graduated St. John's. She's, you know, very into fitness, travelling the world and, you know, I know her and her dad were unseparable, so you know, the pain that the family's going through, I can't even imagine," said one person at the vigil.

"I was shocked. I didn't know the girl personally, but she was very, very lovely, I'm sure," said another. "Her parents were very nice."

An official cause of death is still pending.
