The wet weather could not soak the sea of blue and white Sunday at the 52nd annual Celebrate Israel Parade.

About 40,000 people, according to organizers, lined up 5th Avenue on the Upper East Side for the festivities.

Mayor Bill de Blasio and Gov. Andrew Cuomo were among those who marched along the route.

Kathie Lee Gifford, co-host of show "Today," served as this year's honorary grand marshal.

The parade ran between 57th and 74th streets along 5th Avenue.

"We're here to support the state of Israel. It's amazing what Israel does for us as Jews and for the world," one parade attendee said. "The amount of innovation that comes out of there, it's just incredible."

"It's our homeland, and we need to show that we care about it, and that even if it's six thousand miles away and we're going to get soaking," another attendee said.

Organizers said the parade featured 15 bands and more than 30 floats.

Moments before the parade, the governor announced an executive order for state agencies to stop doing business with any group that aligns itself with the Boycott, Divestments and Sanctions (BDS) movement against Israel.
