Friends and family said one final goodbye to longtime Bronx community activist and lawyer Ramon Jimenez.
A funeral service for Jimenez was held in Parkchester Saturday.
The Brooklyn-born Harvard graduate represented low-income families, injured workers and community groups throughout his career.
Those who knew him say he was a visionary.
"Using his knowledge of law and the rights of citizens and residents not for his own good or his own career but always for the community," said one.
"He made a difference nationally in the Bronx, but he made a difference nationally. He was one of those people who spoke for those who couldn't speak for themselves."
Jimenez ran for state Attorney General in 2010 and 2014
He was 68-years-old.
