Critics of Donald Trump hit the streets of Manhattan to protest the Republican presidential frontrunner.
A large crowd gathered outside Trump Tower on 5th Avenue near 56th Street in Midtown on Sunday to condemn what they call Trump's recent anti-Muslim rhetoric.
Trump also made headlines over the summer when he suggested the Mexican government sends rapists and drug dealers into the U.S.
Demonstrators say Trump's comments encourage racism and are damaging to the country's reputation.
"We came here, all the Muslims and all the New Yorkers, to condemn whatever he said, the comments he made, the racism about the Muslims, about the Mexicans,” one protestor said.
“He's helping to promote racist backlash, especially against Muslims, but against all immigrants, and we're here to counter that," another protestor said.
The march was organized by the Black Lives Matter movement.
