The hunt is on for a minivan driver who police say struck a motorcycle passenger on the Belt Parkway then fled the scene.
Police say 22-year-old Sade Eversley was riding on the bike with a 28-year-old man when they lost control and hit the center median.
Eversley and the motorcycle operator were thrown from the bike into the left lane.
A white minivan tried to swerve but hit Eversley and drove away.
Police are now looking for that van.
Another minivan also tried to stop, but hit Eversley as well.
That driver stayed at the scene.
Eversley was pronounced dead, and the motorcycle operator was taken to Jamaica Hospital where he is recovering.
