President Barack Obama is having a father-daughter weekend in the city.
The president arrived at Kennedy Airport with his daughter Sasha, and two of her friends Friday afternoon.
The White House says the overnight trip is to spend personal time with Sasha and his other daughter Malia, who is currently interning on the Brooklyn set of the HBO series Girls.
Before family time, the president began the evening at a Democratic National Committee fundraiser in Manhattan.
Sources say the President is going to see the new Broadway musical "Hamilton" while he's in town.
The show—which is in previews—is a hip-hop telling of the life of founding father Alexander Hamilton.
He's expected to head back to Washington early Saturday evening.
