A children's clothing line featuring some New York staples is now hoping to take a "bite" out of the adult market as well.
The Piccolini shop in Little Italy sells shirts featuring classic takeout and street food like Lo Mein and a heart-shaped pizza, putting a spin on the traditional "I Love New York" logo.
Owner Alex Zagami, a native of Staten Island, now plans to add adult sizes to the menu with some proceeds going to help those in need
"I've taken the opportunity now, we've had many requests not only from you but parents that have purchased the t-shirts for their children, they want to match their children," said Zagami. "A dollar from each sale goes to the Food Bank for New York City, and with that dollar it feeds five New Yorkers who are in need of a meal."
