Some very big pieces of New York Yankees history are going on the auction block next month.
The letters that spelled out "Yankee Stadium" atop the old Bronx ballpark will go on sale at Sotheby's in Manhattan on April 1.
The 10-foot tall electric blue letters sat on top of the former Stadium from 1976 until it closed in 2008.
The letters are currently owned by Yankees legend Reggie Jackson.
He bought them after the final game at the old stadium.
In a statement through Sotheby's, Jackson says he wants "a new generation to enjoy this icon of the Yankees and of New York City."
The letters are expected to sell for between $300,000 and $600,000.
