The anniversary of Sept. 11 is a time to remember all the people who died during the attacks, and to appreciate those who helped others in the aftermath.

On Sept. 11, Alex Zablocki was a college student trying to make his way back to Staten Island and witnessed the collapse of one of the Twin Towers.

Zablocki serves on the 9/11 Memorial & Museum Visionary Network Leadership Council and credits his career in local government and working with communities in need of his experience on 9/11.

Zablocki joined “News All Day” on Tuesday to discuss the work he does to continue the legacy of those who died.
