It’s the third day of congestion pricing in New York City.
The program is expected to pay for much-needed infrastructure updates within the city’s subway system, including signal upgrades and more electric buses.
MTA Chairman and CEO Janno Lieber joined NY1 political anchor Errol Louis on “Inside City Hall” Tuesday to discuss more.
“We have big problems in New York,” he said. “One of the problems we have is congestion — causing us billions in our economy every year. It’s hurting our health and obviously it’s hurting our lives in many different ways.”
