President-elect Donald Trump is filling key roles in his administration, and has tapped Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to be the nation’s next health secretary, pending Senate confirmation.

Public health officials have raised alarms about the pick, given RFK Jr.’s history of promoting fringe theories, some of which have been thoroughly debunked, and his role as a prominent vaccine skeptic.
