The presidential election revealed Donald Trump made serious inroads in New York City.
Kamala Harris still won the city, with about 68% of the vote compared to Trump's 30 percent, but just four years ago Biden carried the city with 76% of the vote.
Most of the Trump gains appear to be out in Queens, with some also made in other immigrant communities in Manhattan and the Bronx.
John Mollenkopf, a professor of political science and sociology at the CUNY Graduate Center and the director of CUNY's Center for Urban Research, joined political anchor Errol Louis on "Inside City Hall" Thursday night to discuss the data.
