The balance of power in the U.S. Senate is up for grabs.

Democrats have 23 seats up for election, and the Republicans have 11 seats up for election.

Democrats are at risk of losing their thin majority while the Republicans are looking to take back the control for the first time since 2021. In New York, that means Majority Leader Chuck Schumer could become a minority leader.

There are a handful of close races in key battleground states, including Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Arizona.
