Mayor Eric Adams was back in court Wednesday, as he faces federal charges, with prosecutors revealing the mayor could face more charges.
Meanwhile, his defense attorney argued for the trial to be held in March to not interfere with Adams' reelection bid.
Adams has received many calls from lawmakers to resign, but in a show of support, faith leaders rallied around Adams Tuesday on the steps of City Hall.
Also, Gov. Kathy Hochul, who has authority to remove Adams, says she wants the mayor to prove he can continue to govern without distraction.
Former Gov. David Paterson joined NY1 political anchor Errol Louis on "Inside City Hall" Wednesday to discuss more.
