Kamala Harris continues to kick off her presidential campaign.

She appears to have enough support from Democratic Party delegates to win the party’s nomination when the Democratic National Convention kicks off in Chicago next month.

The influential Working Families Party announced that it would endorse Harris for president.

Meanwhile, a new poll from Siena College and the New York Times shows Harris is potentially closing the gap against Donald Trump. It has been just over 100 hours since Joe Biden dropped out of the race, but already, among likely voters, Trump’s lead over Kamala Harris is only one percentage point.

Jasmine Gripper, the co-director of the New York Working Families Party, joined NY1 political anchor Errol Louis on “Inside City Hall” Thursday to discuss more.
