Mirror, mirror on the wall, where is the scariest Halloween party of all? In the following Travel with Val report, NY1's Valarie D'Elia recommends trying Universal Studios, Orlando if you dare. For the 18th year, Universal Studios is hosting its Halloween Horror Nights. This year, the theme is based around Bloody Mary, the demoness who lurks behind every bedroom mirror, shattering more than just your nerves.
There are eight all-new haunted houses, each with a story never before told by Universal's fear mongers. The street program is larger and more elaborate than ever with scare zones everywhere that are so detailed and themed, they are like haunted houses without walls.
And, you will also bump into plenty of new characters. They roam Halloween Horror Nights by the hundreds, so you better watch your back.
Keep in mind, this event might be too intense for young children.
Universal Orlando's Halloween Horror Nights 18 runs from now through November 1st on select nights. Regular admission is $69.99 plus tax. For more information, go to www.halloweenhorrornights.com.
Book any three-night vacation, including a three-day rental car and Universal Orlando theme park tickets, starting at $305 per person and receive two free Halloween Horror Nights tickets.
