The 11-year-old shot by a stray bullet two weeks ago threw out the ceremonial first pitch at Tuesday night's Mets game.
Davonte Kelly also got to watch batting practice before the Mets took on St. Louis.
To top off the evening, Davonte met his favorite player David Wright, who gave him a custom-made Mets Number 31 "Kelly" jersey.
His teammates from his Little League team, the Spring Creek Mets, were also expected to join him in the stands.
The fifth-grader was in the bleachers at a field near Starrett City waiting to take a team picture when he was hit by a stray bullet.
Police are still investigating the shooting.
