The weather is perfect for a trip to the beach and this weekend members of the U.S. Olympic Beach Volleyball team are competing at the third annual AVP Brooklyn Open in Coney Island.

The men's final is tomorrow at 2:30 p.m. and the women's final is Sunday at 2:30 p.m.

Organizers say coming to Coney Island is one of the highlights of the tour every year.

"If you ask the players, they love the beach. It's one of the most famous beaches in the world. And when we told the AVP, they wanted to come to New York and we wanted to bring them to Brooklyn," said Vice President Brooklyn Sports and Entertainment Chris Brahe. "When they finally came out here to do the sight check, they were thrilled."
