Archbishop Timothy Dolan returned to Milwaukee Tuesday, following a busy day touring his new archdiocese.

Dolan will be traveling back and forth between Wisconsin and New York until he is installed as the new head of the New York Archdiocese just after Easter on April 15th.

The archbishop wrapped up his day of introductions at St. Joseph's Seminary in Yonkers, where he met and prayed with students.

Dolan says recruiting men to the priesthood will be a priority.

"There's a great line in scripture where Peter says, 'always be ready to explain to people your hope. And when they see us, a people of hope and joy, they're going to say, why are you that way? And you can attract people to the priesthood, to the faith,'" recited Dolan. "So it's going to be a major goal."

He also held a news conference and even got a congratulatory phone call from President Barack Obama.

Earlier in the day, Dolan attended morning Mass with Edward Cardinal Egan, who is retiring after nine years as New York's archbishop.

While Egan is officially retired, the Vatican asked him to stay on as the apostolic administrator, running the archdiocese until Archbishop Dolan is installed.
