Police continued Sunday to scour parts of upstate Orange County for signs of a missing Brooklyn woman.

State police say they have searched several locations and collected forensic evidence in the suspicious disappearance of 25-year-old Laura Garza.

The NYPD says Garza was last seen early Wednesday morning leaving Club Marquee in Manhattan with Michael Mele, 23, and another man.

State Police Saturday searched Mele's Wallkill home, and seized his SUV.

Mele turned himself in to Newburgh police Friday on a warrant involving an unrelated charge. He is being held on $50,000 bail for probation violation.

He was added to the state sex offender registry in April after being convicted in Rockland County of forcible touching. He has not been charged in Garza's disappearance.

Neighbors of Mele say the investigation has been thorough.

"State Police have been here, helicopters have been here," said one neighbor. "They've had cadaver dogs. They've had everything here."

Garza is 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs about 120 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes.
