In an effort to reduce its carbon footprint, the Bronx Zoo is scrapping its popular Holiday Lights show.

Instead, the zoo will host a daylight Wild Winter Wonderland.
Zoo officials say moving the winter event to the daytime will reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

The new festival will feature more animals, Clydesdale wagon rides, and ice carving.

It will run from 11:30a.m. to 3:30 p.m. every weekend from December 6th through the 21st, and then daily from the 22nd to January 4th.
