The right to buy the best seats in the house at the new Jets Stadium is going up for bid.
A television commercial advertising the online auction for personal seat licenses features none other than Donald Trump.
This is the Jets' first online auction for personal seat licenses, which give the owner the right to purchase season tickets for a particular seat in stadium.
All 2,000 "Coaches Club" seats are near the 50-yard line and include field access behind the Jets bench.
Bids will begin at $5,000 per seat license and will take place on www.stubhub.com from October 19 through October 27.
Seat licenses for other premium seats are already scheduled to go on sale for as much as $25,000.
The tickets themselves will cost $700 per game in the "Coaches Club" area.
The new stadium, which the Jets will share with the Giants, is scheduled to open for the 2010 season.
