Free NY Times Event Celebrates The Love Of Reading

It was a celebration of the joy of reading for kids and adults at the New York Times Great Read, which was held Sunday.
The free event featured live entertainment, giveaways, and children's book readings.
NY1's Pat Kiernan read to children last year. This year, NY1's Kristen Shaughnessy and George Whipple were there for the festivities.
Meanwhile, five best-selling authors appeared at The Times Center Stage in Times Square for a brunch and book signing.
