The landmark children's television show "Sesame Street" celebrated a milestone anniversary Tuesday.
First Lady Michelle Obama helped the show kick off its 40th season today, teaching kids about planting a garden, and eating healthy.
The party started Monday with Big Bird, Oscar the Grouch, Elmo, and Abby Cadabby temporarily renaming 64th Street and Broadway in Manhattan "Sesame Street" after the show.
The Brooklyn Public Library also unveiled an exhibit with memorabilia marking the show's 40th anniversary.
