The public will get a chance to sign some of the steel beams being used to build the National September 11th Memorial and Museum in Manhattan.

On July 3-4, they will be on display in Washington, D.C.

Victims' relatives and first responders will be among the first to be able to sign the beams, and then they'll be open to everyone else.

Since 2007, there have been several signing ceremonies, including one in Manhattan's Battery Park.

The museum is expected to open in 2011.
