"Buildings like this now are really hard to find."
The two-bedroom, two-bath apartment boasts nine-feet-high ceilings, plenty of closet space, a washer and dryer and a chef's kitchen.
"You've had the kitchen completely redone within the last couple of years, with beautiful glass-back splashes, 39 wenge cabinets," says Phillips. "The bathrooms have been done within the last couple of years as well with white Carrera marble floors.
The asking price is $1.1 million and maintenance is $1,379. The co-op, which has storage space inside the building, has been on the market for a month.
Over in Kensington, Brooklyn, an available two-family townhouse is located on East 7th Street, seven blocks from the F and Q lines.
"The owner's duplex has four bedrooms, three baths, including a magnificent master bath," says Maxine Resnick of Corcoran. "It has two working fireplaces, it has a formal dining room with seating around the table for 20 people and it has a backyard that has been meticulously landscaped with bluestone and brick. It's gorgeous."
The house is listed at $1,060,000. Taxes are approximately $3,000 and the space has been on the market for six weeks.
