At their monthly committee meeting Monday, the MTA addressed a growing budget gap and revealed a new series of rider report cards.
After assessing 4,000 riders' evaluating grades of the L Train, MTA officials said the line moved up from a "C" average to a "C+."
"I was extremely encouraged that we were able to organize and actually move that customer satisfaction up," said MTA President Howard Roberts.
However, officials noted that the current round's number of respondents is far smaller than the previous round's 16,000.
Surveys also showed that the 7 Train's assessment by riders stayed at a "C+" average.
Report cards for the B and E Trains will be distributed to commuters next week.
