Mayor Michael Bloomberg is throwing his support behind President Barack Obama's Supreme Court pick.
Bloomberg sent a letter to the Senate Judiciary Committee supporting Judge Sonia Sotomayor's nomination.
The Bronx native spent most of her judicial career here in the city.
In the letter, Bloomberg expressed confidence in Sotomayor's knowledge of the law and her integrity.
