Fire marshals recently arrested a student in connection with a series of small fires at a Manhattan high school.
Department of Education officials said the 16-year-old student is a junior at Stuyvesant High School.
He reportedly faces charges of arson and reckless endangerment.
The teen is accused of setting fires in the bathrooms over the past few weeks.
DOE officials say disciplinary action is pending.
